This post is coming in a few weeks late. As a result, I’m not really sure what happened in May and what happened in early June. I also had a horrendous two week cold and am in the 1st trimester of pregnancy, s things have been a little chaotic. But I’ll try and cast my mind back through the haze for you.

Back at the start of April I received a commission for a blog post… Well that’s still going on now. The drag is frustrating but it’s also provided me the opportunity to do do my first interview. As a long-time shy person this is something I would have avoided like the plague in the past, so I am very proud of this milestone. Now that the band aid has been ripped off too, I hope this will become easier and easier for me to keep doing.

Other than the blog post, I worked on the second children’s book I was commissioned for by an education publisher earlier this year. It’s a fantasy adventure, which was a lot of fun to write.

All my other news technically falls in June, so I’ll save it for my next update.

The pregnancy has really thrown me off my game, as has the increase in freelance work, so there’s not much to report here. It’s ok, there are always lulls with the ups and downs of life.
