The Shepherd’s Crown – Terry Pratchett

“Being a witch is a man’s job: that’s why it needs women to do it.”

Date Completed: October 27 2015
Page Length: 276

The Shepherd’s Crown is Sir Terry Pratchett’s final novel. The Wee Free Men, the first Tiffany Achining novel, was my introduction to Pratchett and the Discworld. I will never forget the first time I met Tiffany and Rob Anybody and the rest of the Nac Mac Feegles. It was an introduction to a world that inspired and challenged me, with many a chuckle along the way. While saddened, I am also delighted by this last novel and the joy I experience at reading it. I am also comforted in the knowledge that there are many a Discworld novel I am yet to read, the prolific author and literary genius served his fans well.
